Fusion

About Fusion

AI made software fast. We built Fusion so you can trust it.

AI can now write software faster than anyone can check it. So the real question is not speed. The question is trust: can you trust what was built, and can you prove it to your auditors, your board and your users?

Why we built Fusion

Delivery lost its connection to the business.

Twenty years of “Big Agile” pulled delivery away from the business. Teams turned the work into tickets, but lost the connection to the business process and the domain design. Poor design needed more and more architectural complexity. Now AI adds code faster on top of that complexity.

We saw this from the inside. We grew a Salesforce consultancy to 130 people and sold it, and we led some of the largest Salesforce projects in Australia. We kept our delivery connected to the business, but before AI that discipline was difficult to scale. Fusion makes it the default on every change.

How Fusion reconnects the work

Each change connects from the problem to the code.

The Fusion SDLC, combined with the Fusion Platform, reconnects the work. Each change starts from the problem to solve and the benefits to deliver. The change then connects through the business process and its participants, to the domain model, and to the code.

  1. The problem and the benefits

What the business must change, and how you will know that the change worked.

  2. The business process and its participants

How the work runs today, how it must run, and the people who do it.

  3. The domain model

The business objects, their rules and their relationships. The Fusion Platform makes the application from this model.

  4. The code

The business rules that the AI writes, and the tests that check them. The rest comes from the platform.

The Fusion SDLC

The discipline, back in every change

The lifecycle is built into the work: the roadmap, the workflow gates, the specs, system testing and user testing. AI makes the full SDLC affordable on every change, not only on the projects with the largest budgets. Each artefact traces to the one before it, so the audit trail is a result of the work, not a rush before each release.

The Fusion Platform

Built for AI, not for clicks

The platform gives you what low-code platforms promise: records, workflows, screens and analytics, ready to use. But we built it from the start for AI in the delivery pipeline, on open-source foundations. It does not carry decades of proprietary architecture built for “clicks, not code”. The AI writes about 90% less code, and the result is better performance, agility and maintainability.

Who we are

A small, senior team.

The team is small because the Fusion Platform provides much of what a larger team builds by hand: the screens, the permissions, the audit and the API. The Fusion SDLC uses AI for work that needed specialist roles before: business analysis, development, testing and deployment. A named person reviews every artefact.
