Website analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to count visits to this website. Plausible does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not identify you. Plausible cannot follow you from one website to another, or from one day to the next.

Plausible records these facts about each visit:

  • The page you visit, and the website that sent you, if any
  • Your browser, operating system and type of device
  • Your country, region and city, taken from your IP address. Plausible then discards the IP address.
  • Clicks on some links, for example the link that books a meeting

We see only totals, for example the number of visitors to a page in one week. We use the totals to learn which pages are useful and to improve the website. Plausible stores the data on servers in the European Union.

When you book a meeting

The “Book a demo” and booking links open a Google Calendar booking page. To book, you give your name, your email address, and any notes you choose to add. Google processes that data under the Google Privacy Policy, and Google sends the booking to us.

We use your booking details to hold the meeting, to send you material that you ask for, and to follow up about Fusion. We do not add you to a mailing list.

You do not have to give us your personal information. But if you do not give your name and email address, you cannot book a meeting.

When you email us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name, and the content of your message. We use them to reply to you and to continue the conversation.

Files from other servers

To show the website, your browser downloads some files from other providers. Each provider receives your IP address and browser details, because it must have them to send the file. We do not receive that data.

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) sends the typefaces.
  • unpkg (unpkg.com) sends the script that draws the icons.
  • Simple Icons (cdn.simpleicons.org) sends the technology logos.

Storage outside New Zealand

Our providers store and process data outside New Zealand. Plausible uses servers in the European Union. Google uses servers in many countries. When a provider holds personal information for us, we stay responsible for it under the Privacy Act. We use only providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to New Zealand law.

How long we keep data

  • Analytics totals: while we use Plausible. The totals contain no personal information.
  • Bookings and emails: while we work with you or talk with you about Fusion, and for up to two years after our last contact. If the law requires us to keep a record for longer, we keep it for that period.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have these rights:

  • To know if we hold personal information about you, and to get a copy of it
  • To ask us to correct personal information about you that is wrong, incomplete or out of date. If we do not make the correction, you can ask us to attach your statement of the correction to the information.

You can also ask us to do these things:

  • Stop the use of your personal information to follow up about Fusion
  • Delete your booking details and your emails, unless the law requires us to keep them

Email your request to hello@fusionframe.work. We can ask you to confirm who you are. We reply as soon as we can, and within 20 working days. If we need more time, we tell you why and when to expect the reply. We do not charge you to make a request or to ask for a correction. If an access request needs a large amount of work, we can charge a reasonable fee, and we tell you the fee before we start.

How we protect data

The website uses HTTPS for all traffic. We keep booking details and emails in accounts that only our team can open. If a privacy breach causes serious harm to you, or is likely to cause serious harm, we tell you and the Privacy Commissioner as soon as we can, as the Privacy Act requires.

Complaints

If you have a concern, email hello@fusionframe.work first, so that we can try to fix it. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of New Zealand.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal information, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we also tell the people who booked a meeting or emailed us.
